Mr. Harold MacMillan, M.P.,

Sir,

House of Commons:

On 25. 6. 47 I addressed a communication to you (attached) which at that time was to be brought to you by a Mr D. Salter who was proceeding to the U.K. on Long Leave, unfortunatly he was involved in a shoot up with an Armed Gang a few days before he was due to sail and accordingly he was prevented from sailing as culprits have been arrested now necessitating his presence to give evidence in the Supreme Court: We had hopes that he might be allowed home before this but as this is not to be I an forwarding this per Air Mail:

My previous communication ended at "" but since that date further communications between the Commissioner of Police and nyself have been exchanged ( copies attached after "o" from which it will be seen that a far greater injustice has now been inflicted upon us proving that we have been obstruvted in our attept to right a wrong through proper channels.

I have not made the latter generally known to the PRE-WAR officers for I feel that the resentment already felt and expressed may lead to greater resentment and who knows what may take place, therefore Sir, I humbly request that you will give this your every consideration and assist us to have this unjust matter cleared up once and for all and we receive our just dues.

I am, Sir,

Yours respectfully.

Phepherd,

VInspector.
